Harnessing the concept from the film, the title on the back is Michael Todd's Around the World in 80 Days, while the spine has only Around the World. Michael Todd receives no formal credit, while his son is listed as the presenter.

Australian WRC pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. Mono and stereo versions have same number on back of sleeve (PLE/852) - the mono version has PLE-852 on beige 'strobe' labels, while the stereo has SPLE-852 on green 'strobe' labels. The stereo was issued with a small S sticker on the front of the sleeve.

Issued as a 'dividend' release, offered at a low price (18 shillings, instead of the regular 35) for club members who had bought one LP or more in the previous 12 months. On offer until July 1965.
