The first 5 cuts included a voice-over by the announcer, including some audio excerpts from the movie. A couple of the spots had the audio from the theatrical trailer where Rick briefly talks about the cast and then Dean Martin tells him to tell everybody about Ricky Nelson. There was nothing in any of the spots that was unique to the movie or any of the theatrical and television advertising. The record itself had the following information printed on the front label:
