An ERATO recording, released exclusively in Australia by World Record Club.

World Record Club on sleeve, The Record Society on LP label.

1968 2nd pressing showing more resemblance to regular World Record Club releases: no longer a gatefold or printed on textured cardboard, with WRC logos on sleeve, along with the Control Guide for Settings and 1968 address combination. The labels are still those of The Record Society. The first pressing was issued as part of the Music In Castles And Cathedrals series - all reference to the series has been expurgated here. First issued on reel-to-reel at the same time.

Mono and stereo versions have same number on sleeve (S/6191) - the mono version has 6191 on the brown 'herald' label, while the stereo has S-6191. The stereo version has a printed stereo rosette on the back, and the mono has a red sticker with mono placed over this (though these tend to drop off with age).
