Three of the four songs explore the Reggae side of Garland Jeffreys -- two of which are on the B-side and were recorded and produced in England by Dennis Blackbeard Bovell of the group Matumbi.
The early Dancehall-tinged Miami Beach features Reggae's premier Dub poet, Linton Kwesi Johnson (one of Bovell's key artists of the time) as the narrator of a horrific account of the race riots of Miami in the early 1980s.
