This album was originally intended to accompany The Best Of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album released in 1998 as a bonus disc.

Due to a deadline with the Japanese licensee a 9 song version had to be delivered before all mixing was finished and Mute were unable to present the finished version at that time for contractual reasons.
We are pleased to be able to finally present this live recording in its completed form.
