Kepi put these box sets together in 1997 out of his personal stash of old records, and has said that he estimates approximately 160 boxes were built.
The box set's number can be found handwritten inside the individually-numbered Hello Hello c/w I Wanna Have Fun 7 as Box Sp# followed by a number.
With the exception of the two Lookout! Records 7s, no inserts were included with the records, and the first 3 7s have one-piece fold-over covers instead of the original two-piece hand-cut covers. The Flying Saucer Rock And Roll 7 is the Green Door reissue. The Don't Go Out 7 has noticeably better print quality on its back cover, with its artwork a little smaller inside a border, not edge-to-edge like the original stand-alone record's. The Beast With 5 Hands 7 has a smaller cover than the original release's slightly-oversized covers, no added splash of color (it's just black on very light tan with tiny black fibers), and no numbering.
