Parsifal was recorded at the Bayreuth Festival, 13 August 1964. Knappertsbusch's last performance of the work (and his last performance of anything: he died on 25 October 1965). The discs state A Hunt Production ℗ 1990 Made in Italy by Phono Comp. This is consistent with the PHC after the matrix numbers. The back of the CD case states Manufactured by MPO France 1990, a French CD manufacturer.
