Danny Boy dedicated to Dr. Sandy F. Ray (Minister, Cornerstone Baptist Church, Brooklyn, N.Y.)

Vandross/Sumler/Hinton constitute vocal core of the group Luther. This is one of their earliest appearances on record. The song Everybody Rejoice (Brand New Day) in The Wiz was written by Vandross and was one of his first sales as a songwriter. He later wrote My Body for Mills.

Home was Mills's hit from Broadway show The Wiz, and is bookended by its antecedent from The Wizard of Oz, Somewhere over the Rainbow.
