This release is the original CD release from 1987. Track 18 is Twistin' The Night Away.

The Rock 'N' Roll Era 1962 is a reissue with RE-1 in the matrix number. Track 18 is Twistin' The Night Away. The RE-1 reissue has the same track listing and art/booklet as the original release, and can only be visually distinguished from the original release by the RE-1 in the matrix number on the CD. The RE-1 reissue features drastically improved sound on nearly all tracks.

The Rock 'N' Roll Era 1962 is a 1992 reissue with RE-2 in the matrix number. Track 18 is Sherry. Sound quality of the other tracks is comparable to the RE-1 reissue. The RE-2 reissue remained in print until at least 1994, as evidenced by this pressing with a Mould SID Code - The Rock 'N' Roll Era 1962.

The Rock 'N' Roll Era 1962 is a 1993 pressing on the JCI label. The JCI pressing has the same track listings as the RE-2 reissue. The JCI artwork includes an additional catalog number of JCI-1062 at the bottom of the rear artwork, in the credits on the last page of the booklet, and at the 3-o'clock position on the CD.

Track durations are as printed on the rear artwork, except for track 2 (printed 2:17, actual 2:23). All other printed durations are accurate to within +/- 5 seconds.
