Manufactured By Toshiba EMI Ltd The Yoiyoiyama Concert was an outdoor concert held 30 times between 1973 and 2011 at Maruyama Park Concert Hall in Kyoto, usually during the period of the Gion Festival. Planned by Tomoya Takaishi and Rokusuke Ei, many musicians and cultural figures participated in the event over the years, which became synonymous with the Kansai folk scene. Artists included Tomoya Takaishi and The Natasha Seven, Rokusuke Ei, Beicho Katsura, Nana Kinomi, Takahiko Ishikawa, and many others. Recordings were made and released almost every year, but the first three years ('73, '74, '75) were the most notable.
