Liner notes:
This release includes both the Burroughs-narrated shorter version and the original film for which two new scores have been created - one by composer Geoff Smith performed on hammered dulcimer and the second offering a dynamic score by UK electronic group, Bronnt Industries Kapital.

Version 1.1 is based on the original score as performed during the 1922 Copenhagen premiere. It was recorded in June 2001 for The Criterion Collection.
Version 1.2 features the newly conceived Bronnt Industries Kapital soundtrack in Dolby 2.0 and Dolby 5.1. (It was also published in parts as Häxan and partially uses music from their album Virtute Et Industria.)
Version 1.3 features the newly conceived Geoff Smith soundtrack.
Version 1.4 is neither credited on cover nor in the menu nor in the booklet. It's just a silent version without any sound.

The film is presented with Swedish intertitles and optional English subtitles.
