This album was released as Schultz was leaving the Tops to finish his college degree, and 50% of the profits from the sale of the recordings benefit the Detroit Public Schools music programs. The album features many of the classic Detroit soul artists that Drew worked with and learned from. The combination of all of the above is what lead to the concept and title of the record.
