From the sleeve notes: FIM Black Vinyl CD is a relatively new product that looks like the old vinyl 45rpm record. The disc offers the same content options as the traditional CD, but with a retro appeal. The CD is made form colored polycarbonate, featuring a grooved-look printed on the face of the CD to give it the unique appearance of a miniature record from years past.
The vinyl CD is a fully functional audio CD that can be read by any CD player. It features offset printing, black substrate and special print effect.
