The video compilation 40,000 Watt RSL includes, for the first time, the promotional videos for Back On The Borderline, Truganini (US version), Surf's Up Tonight and Too Much Sunshine. The promotional video for Underwater, which was included on the previous DVD video release 20,000 Watt RSL is not included on the new release, instead a 1996 live performance at The Palace Theatre in Melbourne is used.
The promotional videos for Sometimes (live version interspersed with promo video outtakes, used to promote the 1992 live album Scream In Blue), the Australian version of Truganini, and the video for Cemetery In My Mind still remain unavailable on any official Midnight Oil Release.
The 40,000 Watt RSL DVD is in NTSC format, and as such, shows some loss of video quality from the original PAL videos being converted to NTSC.
