The first twelve tracks were recorded for Monmouth-Evergreen LP MES-7041. The next six tracks were for a demo and they were issued for the first time on this CD. The last eight tracks consist of rehearsals, outtakes and tracks prior to the final versions.

1-12 recorded on September 30, October 4 & 11, 1971, tracks 13-16 on September 29, 1965.

The trumpeter on track 26 is unidentified.
