Pavel Zajicek and
Mejla Hlavsa. Its name derives from the name of a psychiatric diagnosis that allowed young men to obtain a blue book and avoid compulsory military service. Together with
The Plastic People of the Universe and other underground bands,
DG 307 was the target of persecution by the communist regime. The repression culminated in 1976, when
Zajicek was also arrested and imprisoned for a year. After his release, there were only two concerts
DG 307 in 1979. In 1980
Zajicek emigrated and the group did not develop any activity. In 1992,
Zajicek revived the band together with
Hlavsou with the project Artificially Flavored. Since 2016 the band has been inactive due to
Zajicek’s health. The only permanent member of the band was its leader
Pavel Zajíček. Other members of the band at various times were
