French symphony orchestra, founded in 1873 by violinist and conductor Édouard Colonne.

It was re-named several times:
1914-1918 - L’Assocation Des Concerts Colonne - Lamoureux (joined with the Orchestre Des Concerts Lamoureux owing to staff shortages during World War I)
1939 - L’Assocation Des Concerts Colonne - Lamoureux (World War II)
1940-1945 Orchestre De L’Association Des Concerts Pierné (German occupation - Colonne was Jewish)
1945-1980 L’Orchestre De L’Association Des Concerts Colonne
1980 onwards Orchestre Colonne
