Czech Brass Ensemble

Main image

The Czech Brass Ensemble was set up in 1990, grouping members of leading Prague orchestras: the Czech Philharmonic, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and the National Theatre Orchestra. Its members have to their credit a long list of individual achievements as solo players, as well as a host of awards from international competitions. A major success was scored by the ensemble at Munich where it proved its unique ability to interpret a repertoire embracing a wide range of historical styles ( from Renaissance through Baroque to Twentieth Century) and a large variety of genres, including ragtime and swing music.
