Former French radio personality and bootlegger, specializing in independent rock, born 13 September 1945 in Deauville (Calvados), France. Known as the French John Peel.
He was a radio presenter at France Inter from the early 70s to the end of 1984 when his show Feedback was cancelled and Lenoir moved to Europe 1 radio station.
He returned to France Inter in 1990 to host the shown L’Inrockuptible which was later renamed to C’est Lenoir, with bands public recordings ([l1221029]) or studio recordings ([l1808034]). He finally retired in August 2011.
