Born : August 15, 1928 in Cambuslang, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Died: March, 2020

In the british jazz scene, from 1950s he worked (and co-founded) in the Joe Harriott's Quintet and played also with American jazz stars as Zoot Sims, Al Cohn, Milt Jackson, Dizzy Gillespie and many others.
