Student from Viborg Katedralskole 1970. Master of Arts in Music and Nordic Literature from Aarhus Universitet (AU) 1979. Has worked as a high school teacher (music and Danish), assistant professor/associate professor in musicology (AUC), music producer in DR, associate professor/professor in music therapy at Aalborg Universitet (AAU) and in music and health (Norwegian Academy of Music). Extensive authorship within music history, pedagogy and therapy.
