Norm Menne





A professional trombonist at age thirteen, broke into jazz with Sammy Gardener at The Mound City Six at Gaslight Square. He Worked with Gardener until 1963, when he joined the Russ David Band. In 1964, he organized the St. Louis Sinners; and in 1980 the Mason-Dixie Line, a very popular St. Louis group. In addition he has worked in New York and Las Vegas bands, and appeared with such greats as Gene Krupa, Norm Murphy, The Dukes of Dixieland, and Clyde McCoy.
