Swiss pianist, composer, arranger and orchestra leader mainly for brass orchestral works, born April 23, 1926 on the Cayman-Islands/ Returned to Switzerland, the home country of his parents, at the age of 3. After musical education in Geneva and Neuchatel, he was active band leader all over Europe, where he met Josephine Baker. He emigrated to the USA in 1959 and returned back to Germany and Switzerland, where he worked for numerous radio orchestras. He also made a world tour together with Josephine Baker.
