Blues bassist and former owner and manager of venue [l1308433] in Lincoln, Nebraska. Boehmer was born in 1947 and graduated from The University of Nebraska with a Master of Fine Arts Degree. He became manager of the Zoo Bar in 1973 and took over ownership of the club in the 1970s. He played with house bands The Heart Murmers, The Tablerockers, and Not All There and ran the club until his retirement in 2000. Boehmer retired to Arkansas and died on September 4, 2012.
