Athens, Greece-born South African DJ, Spiro Damaskinos spent his childhood making mix tapes and playing at schoolfriend's birthday parties. In 1989 he moved to London for two years and immersed himself in the house and burgeoning UK rave scenes. Returning to South Africa, Spiro got a residency at the Sports Café in Village Walk in 1993.

His discography includes The Essential Chill Out Album, Gillmania, Ultimate Dance, the Trance House series, The Sports Café Master Mix, The Sounds of Fresh, BPM Dance - Cleveland City, Trippin', House Anthems 1-3, Serious Beats 1-4, Fear Factor, Big Brother I & II, and Cafe Latino.

Mr. Damaskinos also earns his rands as the dance A&R manager for BMG Records Africa.
