In-house band for Sugar Hill Records based in Englewood, New Jersey (USA). Started in September 1979, they provided backing for artists such as Sugarhill Gang and other acts on the label. Line-up:
Doug Wimbish - bass
Nate Edmonds - keyboards / fx
Keith LeBlanc - drums
Skip McDonald (real name Bernard Alexander) - guitar
Bernard Rowland - bass
Sylvia Robinson - percussion, production, engineering, etc
Bert Williams - guitar.

Note: Wimbish, LeBlanc & McDonald had previously played together in Wood, Brass & Steel of which the band name had been created by Sylvia Robinson.
