Yórgos Vakirtzis was a Greek painter. Born in 1923 in Mytilene, Greece - Died 31 January 1988 in Athens, Greece.
From 1945 to 1964, he designed numerous posters for Greek films. During the period 1956-1974, his interest expanded to graphic arts, within the framework of which he edited publications and designed covers for books, albums and magazines. He also was the author of books on art.
