Miljenko Jergović was born in 1966 in Sarajevo, BiH. Jergović is a writer (poetry, prose & esays) as well as critic. Today he lives on the outskirts of Zagreb, Croatia. His first published writings were a book of poems under the title Opservatorija Varšava (Zagreb, 1988).
