Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1926.
Studied piano and composition at the Chicago Musical College and the St. Louis Institute of Music.
Free-lance arranger and composer for radio studio orchestras, created radio drama scores for CBS Network presentations.
Graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Maryland.
