JEFF WINNER is a music, film, and concert producer, writer, and historian. He has written for the OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS Grove Dictionary Of American Music, the MIT PRESS anthology Sound Unbound, features for Electronic Musician magazine, and liner notes for the DVD/CD series OHM: The Early Gurus Of Electronic Music. Jeff was also editor/interviewer for WE ARE DEVO, the band's first biographical book (Firefly Press), and is a Producer of the forthcoming official DEVO documentary film. As a music authority Winner has been interviewed by THE NEW YORK TIMES, NPR, ESQUIRE Magazine, SiriusXM Radio, LA WEEKLY, The BBC, and THE WALL STREET JOURNAL.

Since 1996, Mr. Winner has been a curator of The RAYMOND SCOTT Archives. His Scott projects include: the acclaimed MANHATTAN RESEARCH INC. and THREE WILLOW PARK collections detailing Scott's pioneering electronic music and inventions; the MICROPHONE MUSIC compilation of famous 1930s cartoon jazz immortalized in classic Warner Bros. LOONEY TUNES starring BUGS BUNNY, THE REN & STIMPY SHOW, and THE SIMPSONS; the award-winning documentary film DECONSTRUCTING DAD, featuring multi-Academy Award®-winning movie score composer JOHN WILLIAMS (STAR WARS/HARRY POTTER), MARK MOTHERSBAUGH, and DJ SPOOKY aka Paul D. Miller; and a multimedia live show series at WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL in Los Angeles.
