Bernd Kucera attended the Sacré Coeur high school in Vienna, finished school in the seventh grade and trained as a retail salesman, which he completed in 1988. In 1989, he and a friend founded the band The Original Brothers, which is dedicated to rock 'n' soul and also plays many of its own songs. In 1994, he opened the music agency ToB-Promotion in Vienna, which he still runs today.
