Her debut album, [m=51290] (2003) was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, and she won an Ivor Novello award in 2004 for her debut single [m=51301] (2003). Her second album [m=51256] (2006) was one the highest selling for that year.

Sadly died at a young age of accidental alcohol poisoning at her home in Camden, London, UK.
