Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from Chicago, USA. Born in Akron, Ohio. Well known for fronting Chicago pop group The Chamber Strings. The band's two LPs on Bobsled Records, 1999's 'Gospel Morning' and 2001's 'Month Of Sundays' are highly regarded as critical favorites & underrated underground classics. For fans of Alex Chilton, Faces, The Beatles, Laura Nyro, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Todd Rundgren & Burt Bacharach. Fueled by Kevin Junior's exceptional songwriting skills, orchestral arrangements, & top musicianship. The group started in 1996, and through a few line-up changes, the band remained active. Junior's first two bands in Chicago were Mystery Girls & The Rosehips, which channeled a more Johnny Thunders/T.Rex type of influence. Kevin also recorded & toured for several years with English cult legends Nikki Sudden & Epic Soundtracks (Swell Maps, Jacobites) and can be found on various solo recordings of both artists.
