Drummer from the mid-eighties onwards in one of the greatest of European postpunk bands, Finland's Liikkuvat Lapset (kids on the move) The beat behind 3 extraordinary 80's albums, the selftitled debut (1983), Viettelyksen Vaunu or Chariot of seduction (1985), Kakarakosto or Revenge of the Bastard (1986). He and most of the band returned for a brilliant CD swansong in 2011, Murhe ja Melankolia or Grief and Melancholy. Plus he kept time on 8 masterly singles. Before this run he was in Tv:n Orjat a punk band with his Lapset colleague, the bassist, Harri Siivonen.; and they co-performed on a 1980 EP. They were further reunited in the 90's comedy rock act Nylon 66'ers.
