Czech rock group. Established by saxophonist František Kopal and pianist Karel Svoboda in 1963, they were one of the first professional beat groups in Czechoslovakia, often copying the sound of The Shadows. In the mid-1960s they were regularly hired by [l21873] to back pop vocalists when a more contemporary rock sound (instead of a swinging big band) was required on records. Disbanded around 1970. Revived by Petr Kaplan in 1987 as a retro rock'n'roll band, actively performing and recording until his death in 2007.
