Dave Langston was nicknamed Cyrano. Associated with
The Who, he was initially hired as a chauffeur by Mike Shaw, on April 22, 1965, and left the band Cyrano and The Bergeracs to become the Who's first roadie, later replaced by Richard Cole (5). Later known as Cy Langston, was a longtime production assistant for The Who as well as working with other bands. He is credited as co-writer on the song Early Morning Cold Taxi with Roger Daltrey. Later worked for John Entwistle as a production assistant, and agent for Entwistle's artwork. Was caretaker for Shaw after a paralyzing injury suffered in a car crash driving The Who's equipment van in 1965.
He was also a member of Gary Farr & The T-Bones (February 1966/January 1967).
