Argentine-Brazilian theater director, actor, visual artist, costume designer and writer born in Buenos Aires on December 10, 1930; one of the main figures in children’s theater in Brazil.
Son of Polish immigrants who fled Europe after World War I, he was born in Argentina, moved to Brazil in 1960, and became a naturalized Brazilian in 1961. He created a puppet theater course in the city of Rio de Janeiro together by Pedro Domingues. In 1974 he founded the theater group Ventoforte. In 1980 he took up residence in São Paulo. He died on September 7, 2019, a victim of a heart attack.
